Oregon too cold to sup? Missing Maui?

Right now it's 20 degrees in oregon and the forecast is calling for pretty good surf. But even the beach is going to be in the 20's.....this is rare...without gloves and maybe a 654 you might be asking for it. It's rare when oregon surfers opt out from temp. However it happens...it begs the question:

How cold is too cold for you to surf or sup!?!?
